quick question, will this box/service work in different region, like in mexico for example, going on vacation soon and don't want to miss nfl games. Or do I need a VPN

yes it will work anywhere in the world as long you have internet connection. thats why we leave internet lock to all countries so you can use anywhere you want in the world.
if any issue in any county just hit reset on provider site. vpn is really for if isp trying to block you to connect to iptv service.
