Your correction was just one minute after the initial mistake. There is no ruling on this, at least not one which was discussed.
You did correct your mistake with in one minute and that may be within parameters, but this will need to be discussed between Farmer and myself before a final ruling is imposed.
The problem with mistakes, no matter how quick it was caught, is now that number (267) is in limbo. Meaning others can not use it till we decide a ruling. And if another does or did use the number and maybe before you announced your mistake and correction, well maybe between that time that other person guessed that number unknown to him that was the number you meant to use but didn't , that means if your correction is allowed then that other person wasted his or her guess with no fault of their own.
Only way to overcome that is to immediately not allow the correction and have the number (267) become still available. That's the fair way.
It's a SNAFU situation you see.
