Is this normal ? Are there tricks to get it going ? I filled out the bug form but I am disappointed as I read great reviews on this box and I can't even get to first base without a complete package install.

Yes it's the plus and did do one reset. Out of curiosity I used Ethernet instead of wifi and the packages installed instantly.
