Mag 256 Recording

wondering if any one knows how to record using Mag 256?
Please I would like to know,how is the best way : using USB stick or hard drive?

As far as I am aware, recording is not enabled by the server (NFPS/ Rocket) and does not work on MAG254, do a search through the MAG254 section on 'Recording' to see threads posted

why look there when they have a mag 256?

here's what I found
Recording only works from the INNER portal (m3u) list, and NOT in the Stalker portals.
and it depends if server allows it

Some servers allow recording on a Mag254 but don't know about the 256.
