If problems with sound just Reoot Device and the sound will show up agian,,,found this when New content added to the srever etc..r18 fine with my Mag ..

There are many issues with this update. It has not fixed any of them. Since r14 was working fine until the newer versions r16, r17 and r18 screwed it all up! UNABLE TO MOVE AND CHANGE CHANNEL ORDER, SETUP BUTTON ON RC DOES NOT WORK, etc.

Yes after TESTING the r14 file much better....r18 needs work Yet!!!



-On your Home Page scroll over to Settings Press Ok
-Scroll down to Go to inner Portal
-Press ok on Settings
-Press ok on Software Atuoupdate
-Now Disable the Atuoupdate using the right arrow Key on the remote
-turn off the Beta

-Now press F2 the Green button, you'll see the file in yellow read 0.218-r18-254 scroll to the right with the arrow key to
0.218-r14-254 then press F1 in Red on the Remote to update..

It will reboot on its own.. and your Movies and TV Series Sound Problem Fixed..(5.1)

I too updated my mag box 254 to the r18 Ever since I updated I am having nothing but trouble "unsupported signal check your device output." I have a Sony bravia tv. I tried to clear data still the samething happens. I dont understand. I thought u can take box anywhere and watch t.v. How can I set box back to original defalt ? I tried going in through the box and erasing that data but it does not help.

Hi I'm still on R10 that shows you how long ago I used my mag 254 last. Lol. Should I upgrade to any others or stick with what I have? It works fine on R10 firmware. Cheers

Thats your Video Mode...check your settings...whay you on..use 720p-60

r10 works, r14 fine also....
r18 OK. r18 much faster i think, But problems with sound on 5.1 Movies and TV series thats all...

I tried r14 it was no better than r18. There were directions given, can't remember where, sorry

All I get is being able to update the same r19 file again (June). Doesnt show any other files. I did just receive the box and dont have any servers input yet. Would that make a difference? I have another 254 working just fine.
