If you know what apps you want to install you can install them manually thru apk file loading procedures.
This is referred to as 'side-loading'
Google search for any app.. include search terms--> APK download

You could also install an aptoid market onto that T2 but that would also need to be installed thru apk procedure (side-loading).
The procedure is quick and easy.
You would have to also 'Allow Apps install From Other Sources'
That function would be in the settings somewhere, or it might automatically pop up when you attempt to load the APK file.
The apk file is just a carrier for the app, An app can not be loaded as it is and needs that carrier, once it's loaded it will be seen as an app.

The tutorial I posted the link for is from the dreamlink T3 and it may not be exactly the same as the T2 but will be same basic concept.
As an example , with the T2 you may not need a folder named as 'apk' as the T3 does (as explain in the tutorial).

basically you find the apk version of any app you are looking for and put that on a storage drive device and insert into the T2
Then open a file manager that your T2 has onboard and find and install the apk file.
There will be a prompt stating you must first 'Allow from other Sources'...or you may not get a prompt, but you must allow that before an apk can be installed. The function will be in the T2 menus some place.

That Aptoide Market will need to be installed this way.
Once that is installed, then use that Market like you normally would any Market onboard your device..

It's really as simple as NBS says.
I did post the link for the Aptoide Market, it's shown in post #3 above.

If you download that apk and install onto that T2 then that would be similar to the original market you had on the T2 to begin with.

Or if a certain app you want is not in the Market then do the search thing as NBs mentioned.
When you search for the app be sure to add apk into the search terms otherwise you may not get an apk version.
Another thing to know is that when you do find an apk app thru a search, be careful of what you click on to download when on the site, because they sometimes have other downloads there such as a VPN or etc... they do this as advertising revenue. So be sure to click on the correct link at the websites.

Your T2 will have some sort of file manager onboard and that would be what you use to install the apk onto the T2

you will have to know and understand what some of them sites do. Some will have the installer to download the app/apk. Some will direct download. Some will have other links that don't mean anything except revenue to them.
The ones with the online installer, you don't want as they will run you around before anything gets done. So look for a site that has the single shot download and stick with that site, or sites.

softonic(dot)com is a decent site. Not really sure what kind of apps/apks they have access to, but you can search there.
apkpure(dot)com is another decent site.

With some apps, they have their own website, mainly the high profile apps like VLC (which is a Media Player). them Home sites will mostly have the app/apk available there too.

As an example:
Shown below is the VLC Player available thru the apkpure website.
And also since VLC has it's own website with their app/apk available for downloading, the second link will lead you to their home site.

Once you get to see how an apk is downloaded, next you will need to install that apk onto the T2.
That means you transfer the apk from PC to a storage device (USB drive or other).
Then Insert that device into the T2.
then you will need to have an open File Manager or an App Installer on your T2
That T2 has one or two of them type manager/tools, but I forget what they are called exactly, I haven't had a T2 here since maybe 5 years now.

So once you find that and open it and thru that manager you can search for the USB drive and then click on the apk file. You may get a message right about now, saying you need to 'Allow From Other Sources'.
Sometimes this will be done automatically the first time you try installing an apk, that is why I waited till now to mention it. I said this before, I think :)
But if it does not do it auto, then you will need to find that setting in your T2 menus and set it to Allow.

Once all this happens, then the apk will install and then the app will show up on your T2 (in your All Apps or My Apps folder)

just for fun.. here is why I call an apk file a carrier, of sorts.
When after successfully loading an App from an apk install, you can then navigate on that Android device to where the apk is stored and delete it. The apk, NOT the app.
So if you find the apk on your device, delete it.
It's not really taking up any space , consider it as an empty suitcase and the app it once carried is gone.
And deleting that empty apk is fine, that will do nothing at all to the app previously installed on your Android :)

And now you know why I call an apk file a carrier , or excessive baggage :)
