any one here running this box on 14.1 and what updates did they use to load with it

I loaded it with Openelec update from codesnake files.

Not so far running great, I found out that the picture quality using Linux is an improvement and the upgrades steps from each Kodi upgrade is so easy even a caveman could do it

Awesome, I'm glad you tried. At first i had issues getting the time set up but just go to system>settings>apperancce>International. yeah!!!

LOL....that was pretty much the only thing that stomped me for a little while

I was skeptical at the beginning too, though it was a going to be too much hassle, but flashing it to Openelec was quick and easy. Happy that you like!!

So the time issue kept crawling back at me, everyday it would go back and give me the wrong even though i had set it up right, after doing different things I found out that I had in my openelec settings on Samba so I disabled it and enable SSH, and so far no more time issues
