Still sometimes doesnt load, but working for now.

nfpse.epg.ninja is this EST time ? or CENTRAL, because I am in EST and I am having hard time aligning the EPG.

I have tried offset -1 and +1 in the EPG setting but still not gettting the correct EPG. I used to use is.gd with -4 (FOR EST currently with daylight savings) and worked good.?

The epg.ninja is based on UTC, with the exception of webgrab channels which are corrected for UTC. If you are using PVR Simple, the time shift for the Eastern USA time zone is still -4. It may be that certain channels may not be in sync, because the team does not specifically look at all the schedules for accuracy, in particular the non-english channels.

someone was asking abt epg for the india channels in the 1000 range.
just got done adding most of them,still missing abt a dozen and will probably be dummied as I cant find them with mc2xml or webgrab.
if you want to help out with these channels..

colors and colors india----which one is the india broadcast and which isn't
same for zee tv and zee tv india
sony tv india I think I have right but the sony tv channel is half uk accent and half indian talk so I cant figure out where it coming from.

thanks.delete your databases,reboot for changes to take effect.

Colors = UK Stream (UK Ads)
Colors India = channel is down so cannot tell yet

Zee Tv = UK STREAM (UK Ads)
Zee Tv india = US Stream

sony tv india = indian stream (from Tata Sky company)
sony tv = UK STREAM

Having a 3 day grab running for something that 99% of people were just using to see whats on now or next just seemed extremely wasteful on bandwidth to me and just made kodi load times unnecessarily longer ..
If and when kodi is able to set up timers or recording we will revisit this, until then i do not think anything larger than a 1 day pull, necessary. As blackbear said, its actually set for 28 hours, so your epg in kodi should never appear to run out when just looking at whats on for[ the next few hours..

the same occured with myself i had to set mine slightly different mines set as "prefer XMLTV" and this link

i entered it into explorer and had to use the link it turns into including the http part then while thats enabled go back to your main settings and clear all data also from the epg then make sure you set your guide to 1440minute intervals or you could get your ip banned then enable the tv if nothing happens at all go back to your pvr and re-enable it then regardless if it loads shut down xbmc/kodi and restart it again it should now begin loading up.
if it errors again on loading up you may have epg files inside other pvr programs and then you should delete the following.
"database"
Epg10.db
Textures13.db

"addon_data"
pvr.stalker <--make sure only 2 xml files are in there nothing else
pvr.stalker.nfps <--make sure only 2 xml files are in there nothing else
pvr.iptvsimple <--make sure only 1 xml files are in there nothing else
them addons i added are what most people have used between updates and new pvrs so better safe then sorry

finally enter the cache folder while kodi is not running and delete everything except the tmp folder
restart kodi and your pvr should now loadup without issue
"C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Roaming\Kodi" in windows this will bring you into the kodi folder

Hi blackbear. Sorry to say but as of the last few days the issue has returned that I was having before. I've had to resort to ivue for now but there is hardy any channel listings on there. I'm getting the 'grabbing guide from clients' box where it will hover on 'France 10' for ages before the status bar shoots across and the epg is completely empty. Tried the usual clearing data and cache on everything.

To be honest it doesn't matter too much as I'm only using OpenELEC as my laptop is in the shop having the mobo replaced. It's in shipping at the moment so can use the normal windows version of kodi very soon
