you downloading from app store?
Install apptoid and install MXplayer from the apptoid.
The STB emulator works fine for the test, will it also work when the test is over and the full paid system is released? Im not opposed to paying for another box, Im more concerned about one more box & one more cable & one more remote...., things are pretty cluttered already. Partly my fault, always buying more toys to play with, but it would be nice to cut back somewhere.
that one i cant tell you its wide open now will it work later time will tell but others do if that's any help
The key going forward for the emulator is if it can correctly send your validation information (password, MAC, and maybe the serial). I would hope that someone close to the testing will be able to do that for us using a generic analog or PC before users having to pay for it, and to see that it actually doesn't work.
Updated the #2 post with a link to a video to install, courtesy from the NFPS support site. You can't make this any easier to do.

we are planning to implement 2 authentication methods:
- MAC Address
- Username and Password, the same donation number for both like we do for IKS.
-we have done several tests using the same MAC address in more than one box and the second one will receive a bad authentication error message.

thats good news because you can change mac address like socks
I just was able to get the STB emulator to work with the other android emulator, called "Andy". Initially it didn't work, as the STB emulator didn't keep the proper aspect (landscape). After installing the MX player, and setting the STB emulator for "External Player", the STB emulator worked just like in BlueStacks. I personally like the Andy interface as it is more close to the Android experience than BlueStacks, and per the website, there might be support for the Apple Mac users out there. I updated the #2 post for the link to Andy.
xmtv also works as an external player. You may want to try that out if the mx player doesn't work well for you.
