VPN and International Channels

I am trying to get certain channels from europe but it keeps telling me not available.
I was wondering if I had a vpn from there, would that fix this problem?
I dont know much about this so if anyone could clarify some things for me, that would be great.

I would advise you to purchase a VPN subscription from a VPN provider which has a server listed in whatever countries you want to connect to. Example: My VPN has a list of countries, states, provinces and I simply choose which server I want. If I wanted to connect to Irish Tv, I'd look on my list of servers, choose one of the ones listed as being in Dublin or within Ireland. After you have connected to the server in Ireland, you go to the channel you want to connect to and you should get the channel you want unless there is an unforeseen problem with its server in which case you will see the same not available notation.
I once connected to a VPN server in California and tried to connect to CBC and CTV in Canada and I got a similar message even though I was in Canada. Lol, forgot I was connected to the VPN server.

You missed the point. You don't have to purchase a VPN from that country. VPN Services have drop points throughout the world. You just select the drop point you want to use from their list. Try PureVPN, they have lots of drop point and I have had very good service through them.
