Will WebSearch function still work?

I own a Mag 254 which has icons for searching the web and weather. Will those functions still work when I eventually download the files that make the 254 suitable for our purpose? Or will the box become a "View TV Stations" only?

everything is on the Main Portal or Inner Portal is still there when you add a private portal (at the moment only 2 more) ..when the machine loads you select whic portal you want to go...
