I use my Avov TvOnline with a hotspot called MyPublicWiFi. Works flawless. I use laptop though
Have used Mag254 on it also

so you use a crossover/cat 5 with a bridged connection on your laptop...that's what I'm doing with my phone hotspot...some freezing...trying to do it wirelessly but no go yet...can't figure why .....thanks for your reply...

Cat5 to laptop. Run PublicWiFi on PC. Works great

Let me clarify....
Modem to PC(Cat5)
Run MyPublicWiFi
Wireless to Avov

good solution...cantenna to truckstop 4 mi away...use their wifi and run cat 5 /crossover to mag 254...flawless...lol...a couple of neighbors closer but don't want to sniff their p/w's...lol...thanks again
