closed caption?

I seem to have closed captioning turned on but only on spike tv? is there a way to get rid of it?

If it is true closed captioning you can try pressing top left corner of square but think Avov no longer support CC, you may have a hard copy Sub title which can not be changed.
Unable to check for sure at this time.
