Android media box for XBMC and IPTV

I have a android box for running XBMC can it also run IPTV or I need another newer android box?

The first thing is I have a G box mx2 and need to update it to kodi 15. I have been reading for two hours and on youtube. Is there a how too thread for MX2 box updates.
