True, but doesnt your internet go through your router from your box and isn't the router programmed to do something else?

If you setup a private DNS or a VPN on your Android box and not your router, why would it work?

And worth every penny. When you stop and think how much money it costs to go out to dinner and a movie, in the long run a good HT or music setup is cheap.

I guess the next question would be, if I set the box for the 1080 TV what does that do to the 4K?

Great idea, but neither of the android boxes or the TVs have that setting. All the settings are specific settings or best setting and I dont want to change my 4K TV to a lower setting. If the Buzz has that setting, it would be a good reason to buy.

This will probably be my conclusion on EDID and HDMI Baluns. I know this works well in most situation, because I used it on a semi professional basis. I think the problem here is having two different era TVs. One is a top of the line Sony LED 4K and the other is an older era Samsung 1080...

I want something inexpensive and simple for there first box to see if they really want to go with IPTV. What Buzz or other specific box would you suggest?

A no tech friend asked me to help him get started with our IPTV. Since he and his wife are not Tech people, I'm thinking of getting him started on an inexpensive Mag box. He likes to record movies, so which version of Mag would you suggest?

Thanx for the info. Years back I ran a RG6 to my bedroom, so I could watch my Dish TV and not pay for a second tuner. I bought a couple for about $3. They totally stopped the interference problem.
