I'm getting an absurd amount of DNS queries from all of my Formuler boxes.

I have the Z Alpha, Z8, Z10 Pro, and Z10 Pro Max.

Every minute, they will hit msftncsi(dot)com... every single minute..

Why do these boxes do this? It seems excessive and unnecessary.

BTW, I don't have any third party app installed and I've already uninstalled everything that gave me an option to uninstall. So it's basically just the system and MTVO.

one possible cause is that the devices may be switching between 2.4 and 5 G wifi
Get into your router admin panel and change the name of the 5g connection. When the names are the same your device may switch between the two without your direction.
Telus routers (Aires) have a thing called SmartSterring, and that is precuisly what it does. Switches between the two wifi connections looking for the best connection.
Turn SmartSterring off or change the names of the two conections so they are not anywhere near the same names
