A thief named Frank Stone is a very deeply disturbed, anti social, who finds no joy or humor in anything - until after waking from a coma. things have changed.
What a trip this movie was.
Its about a guy Frank Stone, who steals things and is very good at it. But he has had a troubled past. He grew up an orphan and went thru a very bad childhood.
He became a very angry person. He never said much, he minded his own business, but do not ask him why he never smiles, he will not answer.
He will shoot you in a second if you try and double cross him.
After an accident of sorts, he ends up in a coma for about a week and when he wakes up, somehow everything seems funny to him.
But then all hell breaks loose and its just mayhem at will.
William Forsythe (our lead character), plays the mobster type role in some of his other stuff.
The most known maybe that TV series from a few years back....The Untouchables (TV Series) as Al Capone.
Seizmores role in this movie is from a very dark place and it was not nice to see. It was the reasoning thou as to why Frank Stone was as he was in his later years.
A reason why I wanted to watch this was because Frank Stone drove an 1956 Chevy Bel-Air wagon in the movie. It was even painted in the two tone teal-blueish and white scheme that them cars were famous for.
I can almost say that was the only good part of this movie... but the movie did keep me a little bit interested.
Forsythe has such strong character look in his facial features which he uses well, and that in this movie did not disappoint.
The ending scenes are not for the faint of heart.
Be warned if you watch this one...It might be so bad, that you may just have to watch it to the end :eek:
