I'm going though the screeners before the Oscars, and after seeing some of the more gloomier flicks, I usually go back to this movie to even myself out. It may not be the greatest musical ever, but its a fun movie with decent songs that keep spinning in my head. I do think it might have been better with actors that could actually sing better than Gosling and Stone, but they were talented enough to act like they could sing

Seen it a few days ago, and did enjoy it enough to watch all the way thru ... I say that because I am not a big fan of movie musicals.

Great take on this movie dara , I agree with it all.
Gosling and Stone looked great dancing too :)
