negear nighthawk vpn

i have a mag410 box behind the netgear nightwak router and want to hide my activities from my isp. most vpn's that i find online are software related and i do not think is what i am needing. in my routers connection settings i can set static ip and dns server info. that is what i need to change to a vpn's address correct? does anyone have a good reliable 3rd party source for what i want to use it for? thank you so much in advance

@ roadrunneric , i don't believe you can use a VPN with rocket/66 or NFPS ....

thanks nobody. i remembered it used to be that way but i am assuming since they changed the registration with a option to lock in your country that it would mean just a different ip or mac would not set that off any longer unless that box is checked? does anyone know for sure on this one? thanks again
