can someone confirm if its true.
Just received call from friend and he said he was able to hide adult sections (BuzzTv XRS4000) from live tv and vod by going to categories. however, in live tv when he hits all categories all adult channels are there. he said channels are locked but whats the point of hiding categories when those channels are visible in ALL categories?
if thats true can this be fixed by buzz team? thanks :)

I notice this issue still present on xrs4900 with buzztv .759

I guess its not fixed or maybe was fixed and stated again

If I hide or lock adult channels they do not show up in all Running 760

yup had to manually push for update and got 760 now but they are still visible for me. :eek:

Are you checking the box then hitting yellow button? Once hidden the category is not there and the channels are not either
Tested with nfps and two others

yup it hides from category (I can see button toggles indicates its off). adult category does not show on list when I press ok and left arrow but when I click all channels and I see them they are there. tested and verified on few servers including nfps.

I don't have adult hidden in categories but when I go to all channels they don't appear in the list.

just tested on 20+ servers, E2, E5 and 4900 exact same issue.
beta version 760 connection via XC API

Are you talking live tv and vod?

live tv boss have not tested vod as I hardly watch vod :)
I discovered this issue when I was searching some sports channels for my dad and found adult channels when I had them hidden.

I don't have adult hidden in categories but when I go to all channels they don't appear in the list.

Oooops.I thought I was using the 4900 but was using the X5.

It would be nice if every category that's hidden didn't show up in all channels.

technically that is how should be if they are hidden then should not be visible anywhere.

heres anther strange I found on X5. one of the server on X5 just like Big Mac said I did not hide adult and they are not in all channels but can be seen in their own sub category. funny part is in sub category they start from channel 1060 but in all channel I see 1060 and up are something else. :eek:
