I am having a problem using the on-screen keyboard. When you search in and app like Stremio you can only add 1 letter at a time as it drops you out of the keyboard function. You can type only 1 letter or digit.

Did you try just using the mouse?

The Mouse function on the XR4000 is not any better than the other stock BuzzTV remotes - totally Useless.
Wondering if this will be fixed ??

I just plug in a traditional mouse which works fine and not use the remote mouse.

That's all well and good but it is the fact of having On-Screen keyboard so you can use the remote that came with the box.

I just now connected the XR4000 again since awhile ago.
I looked in Settings as I thought I had seen an option for some Keyboard functions in there somewhere.

Settings>Device Preferences>Keyboard & Autofill
Might be a setting in there that may help ??

I do not normally use many apps like as you describe so I can not test that.
Did try it in the IPTV Portal thou, and the search function with on-screen keyboard does work correctly when in the VOD selections.

Yeah I haven't had any issues with the keyboard so I'm guessing it's an app specific issue.

My bad - The keyboard "bounces" back to the search field after input & have to press the OK button to go back to the keyboard.
The On-screen keyboard does work, just differently than I was used to!
