When I go to www.IPTVTalk.net (http://www.IPTVTalk.net) it looks great, but as soon as I login, it is unreadable (and has https:// in front of it.)Help. I can't use this forum like this. Micallen

That helps me see the threads a little better, but it still looks like a 1998 broken message board. Wheras this (www.IPTVTalk.net) looks great.

Certain browser add-ons will detect when security certificates may be not configured to its liking, or by default will try to force the browser to use https when it isn't configured for the site. I have an add-on called Duck Duck Go that does that, so I had to whitelist the site to allow it to be viewed properly on that particular browser.

To verify, you could run the browser in 'safe mode' to completely disable the add-ons. You could try disabling add-ons individually, but sometimes that doesn't work.

I was able to log in with my phone on the mobile version. But it took some doing. On the first attempt, I get an invalid redirect URL warning message. I took a screenshot, but I guess I can't post images yet. But then when I click on anything else, it goes to the site and I am already logged in.

With me already logged in, I went in Chrome settings and created a bookmark so that I start on that page every time. It seems to be working. At least I can get on with my phone now!

You won't be able to post images directly through the website. You would have to put the image on a hosting site, then use the link url.

You may get better help on this if you tell us what browser you are using on your PC, and if you had tried other browsers.

THAT WAS IT! I removed the Duck Duck GO from my PC Chrome extensions. I still get the error seen below when I log in, but then I just click on Forums, and all is well (and I am logged in.) Thanks for the suggestion.

Mods: Could you change the title of this thread to "Having trouble with the forum" so it doesn't sound like a personal attack?

I think he's fixed it, by removing the Duck Duck Go addon. My recommendation is that he keep the add-on, but just whitelist the site. I had the same problem using Firefox, but going to Chrome, that didn't have that add-on installed, the site worked.

Duck Duck GO was just an experiment anyway. No loss.

Was gonna reply to this Earlier but lost it in the shuffle...! DDG is OK2Go...! I use FF as My Mine Browser and like searching with DDG and You can add the others, Bing, Google, Wiki or more so when You type in a search item a roll-down window opens giving One the Options of DDG or Another to complete the Search. I also Save Sites in My Favorites so They Open Automatically. I tried Chrome but my Spyware kept detecting stuff...!
