Has anyone recognized that this box seems to work flawlessly when hard wired but over WiFi its totally sticking and it wont even locate my 5.0GHz signal even though they are in the same room. Is anyone having this problem?

I don't know of any AVOV box that is equipped with 2.4 / 5ghz AC wifi. All AVOV boxes have 2.4ghz only which may explain why your box doesn't see any 5ghz wifi bands including yours. If you want wifi, go with 2.4gzh and set your box up on it, otherwise, hardwire it.

Please understand, the ethernet port only provides T10 and T100 speeds or throughput, it is not a gigabyte port which provides T1000 service so it too is limited.

Technically hardwired is better for any device. But haven't had problems with the wifi. I have a wifi range extender really close to it to give it full strength but even the 2.4ghz works great even on 1080p quality on kodi and another provider I can't mention
