No you cant play m3u on this box.

No, this box is strictly what its advertised to do and nothing else. You cant play m3u files on this box period. Unless they provide a software where you can use your own m3u files. You can go to their site and go to the forum there a request to have one and see what response you get.

The avov now will play m3u files with the Simple IPTV app found in your Micky Market

No usb stick loading icer, you load what apps they offer only. Their app store is built right into the software and you can't load anything to it that's not offered. The new avov is reported to include Kodi in the app store.

Thanx bio, I am gonna get one of these along with the Mag 254s. and a mag 260 to test the limits so when all is up all my old BUD buds and I will get the best for the sub. Let you know what goes on too.

XBMC(gotham) is being beta tested for awhile now,hopefully available to the public very soon

Yes goose, gotham has been in testing. It is not available in the channel store at this time for the v1 but may be later on- may not ever be available. Problem with v1 running xbmc is resources, it runs out with a basic load of addons.

Have read postings that the v2 avov doesn't have that restriction and runs kodi.

Just got this box and set it up...it's working great with the tv online app and with the other few apps I've installed.
Looking through the apps, my Game choices are zippo...nada...
Is this my issue or is it that the Mickey Market Game list is now empty?

Well updating I got this one and it is smaller than the M254, the channels are set up to load differently, M254 loads each channel you scan through, this one stays on last channel till you request a change. More gaming though I really like the games on the m254, the mickey market is kinda cool, but it needs some more direct to service links, for my taste. The Iptv program is easy to setup, and works well the wifi setup is easy too. I haven't loaded any other servers on the iptv program yet so more to come we hope. guess it will just be limited by program operational space. One thing I haven't tried yet is logging into the you tube account on this, the m254 has no menu option for it, or any others that I can find except the picasa

Put a m3u file on usb and try it again. We don't talk about m3u files here on site anymore but it does work for the avov app.
