Clearing cache daily

This may or may not be a problem, could be just a setting.

I am using jarvis 16, with iptv66 donation. Ninja updater all set up but I find that every morning I need to clear the live tv cache and guide. This is because when the ninja updater, updates at 2am, it does not populate my guide. I am awake at 2am when it updates, I turn my box off and go to bed. Next morning my guide is empty. That's when I need to clear caches etc....

Now I am sure this is not the correct way for this to be working, or is it?

make sure do not update during playback is NOT turned on. in settings>tv>gudie

It was turned on. I shall untick it and see what happens.
