Hi!

I have a problem with my android MXQ. The screen of my 40" LCD 1080p tv seems to shut offs like for a couple of seconds every 10 or 15 secs. I googled about this flickering issue and some people says to deactivate the auto resolution option (which i did) with no results. I also put the resolution down to 720p, to 1080i, even 480i and still doing the same thing. Changed the firmware to a one i found on the net and it was worst. Have someone had this kind of issues? i even tried a different hdmi cable and nothing, the screen just flickers some time and come back again at any time. I also have a mag254 and my jynx and they work fine with my hdmi cable. I don't know why this box do that. If some one could help me please maybe to advice on which firmware is good for this box.. can i install a matricom mx2 fw on this one? i wouldn't want to brick it.

The problem is that it does blinks at any point, even not running kodi or other app, for ex. scrolling in the menu or doing some settings configuration. That's why i think maybe theres an issue with the fw regarding the hdmi output.

Mine does that also. I have mine connected to a Pioneer receiver with HDMI inputs and outputs and that goes to a projector. I changed to better HDMI cables and it helps but have to make sure the connection to the MXQ is very solid and the unit is secure. I dont have a problem when its connected to my LG tv....

I think you might have a bad box, these MXQ boxes vary in quality depending on who made them. Each manufacturer in China has their own priority MXQ box. I've had very good ones and others that were garbage and unstable.
