you are incorrect, the mag boxes don't have this prob, and some of the avovs don't either. If you use the remote to turn on/off the online the main menu time starts from when last used. Normally the epg time is correct, thks

thats first time i ever heard that from router was thinking from dot com or org
all my other devices on my modem/router don't have the prob, just the online

The reason that I say this is...
I recently purchased a new ASUS router, the time was off until I went into the router settings and changed it. When the time was off in the router it was off on the box. When I set the correct time on the router the time was correct on the box. If I shut the router off (and leave it off) and reboot the box, the time/date is wrong and never updates. When I turn the router back on the time/date on the box corrects itself within a minute or two.
The evidence that I am seeing seems pretty conclusive.
Anyone who disagrees, please tell me where else it gets the time/date from?

i;m not saying your wrong just didnt know if they are going by that some use the usa time org or i use this one time.nist.gov
