Kodi on a Samsung smart tv

Hello,

Not sure if this is the correct section to post, if not please move.

I will like to know if I can install Kodi or an app on my samsung smart TV to watch the Iptv channels ( NFPS OR rocket) Server channel.
If so can you lead me in the right direction.

No you can't install Kodi, it is not supported.

search for iptv in the store and you should find simple smart iptv client. its mega big in Russia. and most tv's lg, Samsung, etc have this client in their store.

the board can tell you how to use iptv simple with iptv stalker.

good luck I haven't tried it, but if its like any other simple iptv client it should work with a little ingenuity

exactly.. if its not in the store use the link to bypass as developer and get it.

you need to upload the m3u8. or provide a url. I recommend you to search the site above, google, and youtube. there is lots of info out there.

edit: the app installed fine, but theres a connection issue with the D series, its known on the above site.. <sigh> lucky me. assistance is over. lol

Yes this client works for most IPTV Streams and I have used it before. However you would have to convert the Stalker M3U file to a format that is supported by this plugin. You still have to have Stalker Running somewhere on your network. The issue is that the stream format from the Stalker Client is not supported by the TV or The Plugin. Same reason you cannot use DVB Link with the Stalker Client.

you can read about the format of the m3u8 here, it looks pretty standard to me.
there are no extra attributes needed in the file except duration, what needs to be changed?
also there is 2 apps one you can buy in the store on later smart tv's(smart iptv - pink icon) and this backdoor install version(simple smart iptv- blue icon).
