mag worked at my house but not when he got home it says no ip avelable

Let me get this straight. You set up someone's Mag, they took it home and now it errors?

ya my dad wanted a box and it worked good when it left here

It worked at your house, but not his.

have him go to settings and make sure all the info is still correct.

I had a mag with a bad internal battery and as soon as it was unplugged and powered all the way down it would lose its stored memory.

If all information is good, second place to look would be the firewall.

Some routers will need to have the ports opened.

Try that and see what happens.

Try connecting to the router directly or reboot both router and mag to see if that will work

Wired or wireless?

If the mag wont connect to the internet at your dads house take it back to yours and diag.

Mostlikly a wireless issue.
