    Rocket Stalker PVR Buffer Advanced Fix!

    Ok this advanced setting did wonders for my Rocket's buffering so I thought I'd share with the Rocket Team. This is for my Stalker PVR Client that has fixed freezing for me so let me know if it helps you as well and if so sticky?

    Ok its just a simple advancedsettings.xml file with the following settings inside....

    <buffermode>1</buffermode>

    <cachemembuffersize>419430400</cachemembuffersize>

    <readbufferfactor>4.0</readbufferfactor>

    The easiest way to install this correct is with the program add-on for Kodi called "Easy Advance Settings" that will make and install the file properly. The add-on is straight forward so I don't think I need to explain that. Just once you got the
    advancedsettings.xml file installed reboot to see effects.

    Now let me know if this is working for you also or did my box pull a miracle?! haha... Cheers!

    Install Easy Advanced Settings for Kodi.

    Open it then click edit settings then network settings then network. Then edit the three settings I listed above. Once done click write xml file. Reboot for effect.

    Here's a youtube video to show you what high247 is referring to, just remember that the guy mistakingly instructs you to enter 41943040 when in fact it should be 419430400, so if you're trying this enter 419430400 for cachemembuffersize.

    I doubt this does anything for live streams. Just hit "O" on your keyboard and you will see nothing is being cached for live streams.

    Edit: Here is my advanced settings xml. Cache is set to 0 meaning I have a unlimited amount (or as big as my storage allows). I have been using it like this for while and I still get buffering issues with rocket.
    Code:
    <advancedsettings>
      <network>
        <buffermode>1</buffermode>
        <cachemembuffersize>0</cachemembuffersize>
        <readbufferfactor>30</readbufferfactor>
      </network>
    </advancedsettings>

    This solution really is meant for tv boxes. 0 is best option on pc though for sure.

    And at least for me this has helped with live streaming from here and other services noticeably on my end. Only reason I shared.

    Before when watching live it would only be 1 - 2 seconds ahead on buffer now its 10 - 20 seconds ahead buffered on almost all channels. Only freeze I get now is if a channel is 100% offline. Maybe I got lucky?

    I don't own a mag box so hopefully someone else can answer that for you. Sorry.

    If mag can run kodi then I would say most likely. Cheers! 😊

    The only option related with buffer in mag250 is under advanced settings, I tried increasing it on 1000ms, 3000ms, 5000ms,10 000ms , so far it didn't work.

    Thanks
