Need a little guidance

Greetings.
I'm debating whether to go with IPTV (rocket) or switch to new STB satellite box (that'll let me update new tp settings). I know very little about IPTV and see IPTV boxes for sale all over internet. Can someone give me pointers on what I need to look for in these boxes, that'll work well with rocket? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Take time to read some threads in this forum, it's very clear that IPTV is the future and my suggestion would be to wait on any STB purchase until the smoke clears regarding future encryption measures. I myself have already made plans for Rocket/NFPS/IKS66 to be the primary IPTV provider!!

I personally would not spend anymore money on iks recs...that's just me. Check out the avov's and the mag254 or any good quality android stb...IMO

It could be "flip a coin". If you believe that "anycast" won't be implemented anytime soon, you may get your payback pretty quickly with a new HD sat box. However, its pretty clear that when the server guys don't see any benefit in IKS, they will stop supporting it. If you don't want to spend anymore bux than necessary and have a PC and a good network connection, you can transition into IPTV pretty easily with a little work.

i will not spend a dime on new iks box but i have them already as to buy now flip a coin it may go down in a day or two yrs no one here knows when but they can do it anytime they want

I say yes to all the people crying for HD channels well Dick did it for you so run and get HD sat box to enjoy all your HD channels

personally I would just wait it out for a good hd fta box with iptv added to have best of both worlds....but if money isnt an issue then by all means buy 2 and buy me a new old camaro
