    IPTV Simple Client not working

So, is there a reason I can no longer use the IPTV simple client? It worked fine during the trial but since things went private I can't seem to get it to work. IPTV Stalker works fine and the PVR client fetches the channels fine but when I try and watch them from Live TV the channels always fail. It says working but then just stops. There is no error message, just can't play the channels. Any ideas? I really like the live setup better than iVue or FTV/guide, etc. thanks in advance.

Yes. And everything is working fine with IPTV Stalker just not IPTV Simple Client. Loads channels, shows in EPG it just won't play them. It doesn't give me any errors.

To use iptv simple client you need to turn stalker client off and then go to system and under TV toggle enable off and then back on. That works for me. But when you need stalker you need to reverse the process.

I'm using the IPTV Stalker addon not the client. The IPTV Stalker addon has a M3u server built in and IPTV Simple client looks at that for it's list. And if I've not mistaken, it then to loads channels through the IPTV Stalker m3u server but now it just won't do that. I have tried turning the server part off and then on (repeatedly) and have run in both states.

    Works for me.

On IPTV Stalker, is M3U server on? Did you try start/stop/start? Is the port 8899?

In PVR Simple, is the path "remote" and using "http://localhost:8899/channels.html?portal=1"

Make sure you Clear data for TV. I'm on Kodi 15.1 RC, stock PVR Simple, and IPTV Stalker (1.0.18)

Of course the settings are all correct and the m3u server is on. All of the normal checks have been made. The one difference is that I am using 14.2. I don't care much for RCs.

Kodi 15.0 is a minor release, so maybe it would be a good idea to upgrade, or wait until 15.1 is stable. 16 is supposed to be a major release. I don't mess with betas myself.

I'm wondering, do you have any local port blockers , or firewall settings to be set?
