    Recording VOD

I have connected a blank thumb drive to the Mag254. How can I record one of the VOD movies we are receiving on the trial?

Buddy of mine has a HDD which is loaded with movies and TV series stuff. He takes that and his LapTop and his speaker system off to work with him. He works in the bush and stays in a camp for 1 full month.
No internet out there or sketchy at best (lotta sites they won't get a phone signal at all).

    There's a reason
    Prolly many such reasons

For 3 months every year I am in an area that only uses DSL for internet. At it's best, it's terrible. VOD will never work. So I want to save 5 or 6 movies for future use.
