Many have already heard the news. We know Vixo1 has been discontinued awhile ago. We've also heard about their new model coming soon, (August is projected date).

'We have been closely working with our manufacture and MickyHop to get our new quad-core device, the VIXO Fuse ready as soon as possible. Meanwhile we will attach some pictures for you to view and some new specs and features you will be able to enjoy with this device.

pic looks great wish i could use this but cant DVB-S2 or ATSC Tuner but i;m like 5% that can't

what does this mean? I'm new

I can't find much info on the Fuse...I presume it does not yet have audio outputs for Surround Sound? I know companies like to dole out options on newer models, and all these boxes will likely eventually have such features: I am hard of hearing, and am just wondering if this one does or not. Do the USB ports/software support external HDD recording?

I contacted avov through their web site about the Surround Sound and recording options...they answered back saying that they are still developing it, and would not have info available until the end of August. I guess that's why no one answered my questions...no one knows yet.

As I wrote above that is not enough information to interested me to buy that box. I ask for a little more detail as it is generally accepted to be at the website of the manufacturers of similar products
