Freeze What is a better PVR system? IPTV Simple Client or Stalker Client?

I'm trying to get the best configuration for both an IPTV\PVR\LiveTV setup + an EPG system. Right now I have both 'PVR IPTV Simple Client' v1.9.12 w/ its EPG coming from http://is.gd/NFPSF

The issue with this though, is whenever the guide is accessed, from anywhere, it halts everything on screen, for about 20-30 seconds (every time) before the guide comes up; this isn't acceptable.

So I'm looking at the other option of 'Stalker Client' + iVue. Is this a better option?

    Thanks!

do you really need your epg to download updates while watching programs?
do you really need 3 days worth of epg to download/update?

you can edit those settings in Systems -- Live TV -- Guide

ps -- you might also select "dont cache in local database"

    Thanks for your reply!

No, I don't need to download programs while watching
I changed it to 1 day when setting up

Are those 2 settings why it takes 20-30 seconds when going to TV -> EPG, for the guide to come up whilst whatever is on the screen freezes (audio still plays in the background?)

Which "don't cache in local database" are you referring to?
