But Vancouver gave them just that chance at only a couple minutes into game 1
AND... Edmonton Oilers did indeed score.

the Oilers had a 4 -1 lead about mid point in the game. Now with 5 minutes to go in the 3rd period Vancouver takes the lead with 4 unanswered goals

well, the Edmonton Oilers pulled their goalie and then set out to absolutely pepper the Vancouver goalie, but to no avail.
