where i put the url's in the screen is dark grey and i cannot enter urls someone told me the enter lines should be white any thoughts ?

just speculating , but maybe there is some other program trying to connect (like ytube for example), which makes it so no other info can be entered at the time.
Or what about internet ? Is it connected ? Maybe it needs to be.

I been doing a FEW SEARCHES FOR A POSSIBLE SOLUtION BUT CAN NOT SEEM TO FIND ANYTHING ON THE MATTER.
sEEMS IT MUST BE A SIMPLY SETTING THAT ALLOWS OR ENABLES THE SERVER URLS TO BE ENTERED :EEK:

is this a used device or brand new ?
There are ways to connect to a shared server thru their Minastra platform. If this is a used device could be the previous owner was connected thru that way somehow and is why it's locked as that. I would not know how to direct you with that thou, look in menus for something pretaining to that.
Maybe a factory reset might help. You should be able to find the reset explained in the mag 254 model's sticky threads, It prolly is same method, maybe
