The only programs I have found that are not compatible are the for the older versions of Android, and those that will alter your system files.
The box will run any good safe app, You can force load some others but I would not suggest it, why cause problems with a great box just because you want a program that you liked on something else.
I tried a lot of the older programs on the U5 but they did not work as well as the ones supplied and I am running a lot of storage space, I can transfer a large movie from the DL folder to removable storage almost instantly and the DLs are mostly around 30 seconds to a couple of minutes for really large ones Most are under a minute.
This thing is like a McLaren P1 vs a 6cyl Mustang.
