I Think I Tried So Many Boxes In My Pass And Went Through Some Headache's With Some Of Them. And I Was A Little Cautious Of Trying A New Box . But I Have To Admit That After Playing With This Buzztv U5 This Is Far The BEST Box I've Ever Had . Like The Mandalorian's Always Say. This Is The Way. Lol 😊

I have set mine up with a 2TB SOLID STATE HARD DRIVE MOUNTED IN THE BOX , A 512 GB MICRO CARD AS EXPANSION AND AN EXTERNALLY CONNECTED 16TB SOLID STATE DRIVE AS STORAGE FOR DOWNLOADS.

It works flawlessly BUT CHOOSE any outside APPS CAREFULLY there are some that will try to override your BUZZ INSTALLED PLAYER or some other function WITHOUT YOU REQUESTING IT.

I worked throughTHE SAFE APP SITES to try some of the apps I have used in the past and some new ones I NOT FIND MUCH I WOULD KEEP, THE SOFTWARE IN THE BOX WORKS AS GOOD AS ANY AND BETTER THAN MOST WITH NO HASSLE, NO EXTRA PERMISSIONS AND NO CHASING A FULL UNINSTALL.

3TB.You could go bigger but you would need to partition the drive so why bother.
Also use SSD not SATA.

I've never heard of that in 7 years.Maybe learn how to set permissions for your apps but even so no app is going to affect the BuzzTV app.
