This is a psychological thriller. It's a slow burner, I liked it.

The story is about this nurse (Liby) who has been charged with watching over a child who is dyeing for no other reason except she is not eating. The people of the villiage beleive she has been getting nourishment from God and is why she has been able to live for months without food. But is that really what is happened? Liby is determined to help this child against the wishes of the town folk and the family.

The ending is kinda expected and is good

'Set in The Irish Midlands in 1862, the story follows a young girl who stops eating but remains miraculously alive and well. English nurse Lib Wright is brought to a tiny village to observe eleven-year old Anna O'Donnell. Tourists and pilgrims mass to witness the girl who is said to have survived without food for months. Is the village harbouring a saint 'surviving on manna from heaven' or are there more ominous motives at work?'

Trivia:
The young child's mother in this film, is in real live the actual mother of the child.
