    Bandit (2022)

    No one's born bad.
    Like anything, it takes practice.

    Director: Allan Ungar
    Writers: Robert Knuckle, Kraig Wenman
Stars: Josh Duhamel, Elisha Cuthbert, Mel Gibson

A charming American born career criminal assumes a new identity in Canada and goes on to rob a record 59 banks and jewellery stores.
Based on the story of The Flying Bandit.

    I liked this one.
I liked seeing Elisha in a new movie.
Josh is always good in a movie.
And then we have Mel Gibson.

Hard to go wrong with this group of actors.

It's a movie of a cat and mouse type chase with some romance and some found friendship along the way.

Okay, scrap that. It's a guy that commits bank robberies, does it well too
Does it so well he did sometimes two a day. Hit the same banks sometimes multiple times.
Never hurt any one during any of the heists.
Continued even when he knew he was being watched by the feds.

    He had balls.
Two of them, as he would say

"The illusion of freedom will continue for as long as it's profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will take down the scenery, move the tables and chairs out of the way, then they will pull back the curtains and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater."

I think (without researching), but I think the movie 'Bandits' with Bruce Willis and Billy Bob from some few years back is also LIGHTLY based on this same story.
