    Assigning a new rocket

    When you are assinging a new rocket to a t3, do you use the mac or the id number

    some boxes have MAC and some have MAC/ID but whatever you have Mac should start with 00:1A:79.......
    in your case should be the ID.

    notice the last 6 digits are the same with the ID and with the MAC, only the first 6 are different.
    This holds true with every type of IPTV device with an onboard iptv app.
    The MyTVOnline app onboard your T3 device is such an app.

    -The MAC is the device's MAC (the T3's MAC).
    -The ID is the IPTV app's MAC ... with 00:1A:79 as Ryu showed us.

    The IPTV app (MOL) is what connects online and is why it's MAC ID is needed (with the 00:1A:79 prefix).
    The Dreamlink T3 device itself does not connect online, only it's apps onboard do. And is why it's MAC ID is not used.
