Another question I got my tv connected to a sound bar via optical cable and when I do the auto set up for the remote and I pressed the volume button I get a pop up on the tv saying that is connected with the optical cable. Is not adjusting the volume. Any suggestions on how can I fix this?

Yes it did ask me but it shows the way the tv is connected to the sound bar not the volume. I don’t have this problems with other remotes. If I don’t program the remote to the tv it works fine.

What happens if you connect it to the X5?

If you have optical cable from tv to surround bar then you have to use surround bars remote control for volume. That’s how I have it for my parents because they have multiple device connected so all of them use only one remote control for volume.
But if you have only one device then I would connect optical from box to surround bar.
