Nice, Rocky, I can see where it got it's name. Here's a couple, first is a Surefire first edition was only available to the military and law enforcement. Second is a small caping knife hand made in Seki, Japan of Damascus steel.. 003.jpg 004.jpg

Three requests this week alone for knife sharpening..ugh. I have only done this for good firearm customers and really don't wish to get into it as a sideline. I believe the art & skill of proper knife sharpening is part of growing up..IMO. I guess word of mouth travels far but at my age and with my workload I just don't need the aggravation. If anyone wants hints or directions for proper sharpening they can contact me by pm, thks....

I had several hand guns, rifles, a Ruger 44 carbine, a Ruger 10/22, a Ruger stainless mini 14, Ruger stainless mk ll, a Weatherby 300 mag, an Ithica XL900 and an Anshutz single shot, a S&W 44 stainless with a vent rib barrel, a couple of pellet guns, a Remington 25-06 BDL with a 6.5 x20 Leupould. a cross bow, a compound bow and enough reloading gear to fill a garage bench. Gave it all up, sold it all off when gun locks, safes and paying for the priviledge of owning and registering all of it began. All I have left are some left overs like a few knives, a buck folder, a Boker automatic, a few Swiss Army pocket knives and a couple of Browning skinners. I'd trade the entire lot for a good German gravity drop blade which were as good as they get and dead simple to operate. Anyone knowing where one might acquire one ?
