USA -v- UK discussion

I'm one of the 'rare' ones that goes pistol shooting still (I have to travel into the USA or Europe to shoot due to the stupid laws in the UK).

As a brit, I had to surrender my weapons when the ban came in and got very little money back. The public were told that this would bring down gun crime in the UK - it has not! Its gone the other way.

What do members in here think about what happened here in the UK and do you think that people in the USA will keep standing up for the right to keep and bear arms?

Im guessing - like are like me and also believe in the right to bear arms? As Im new to the forum, im just guessing!
