    Netflix app for GTV

Found a version of the Netflix app that works great with the GTV box.

Filelinked code 59240777, then choose the HD mobile version.

If you already installed a different version of Netflix, uninstall it before installing this one or it won't install.

Works great with the GTV remote; much easier to get around that the version I was using on T2 Prime...

Is this a TV version of Netflix (like you'd find on the Fire Stick, Chromecast, or Shield) or is this a touchscreen version designed for phones like you'd find on all generic android boxes?

Since this box runs Android TV I thought it would natively support Netflix...

These Android STBs do not support Netflix due to licensing restraints ... except only two versions only (far as I know currently).

There was a time you could load the app or apps thru the filelinked tool , but that tool been taken offline.
So you would need to find the app as an apk file and sideload it onto your Android device.
Google search for the apk version of these apps

    The 2 working versions...
    1. netflix.ninja-2.0_build_295-minAPI21-V2.7
    2. netflix_4.16.1_ZJ_HDFix-screensize

DO NOT UPDATE THE NETFLIX APP if it prompts you to.
These apps are version specific to work.

Below is a C/P Quote from the Formuler Z8 forum section.
But remember that the Filelinked app no longer works, so it becomes a matter of searching online and finding the apk versions of these apps, for sideloading onto the Android device.

There are two versions that work on them Z series models (except nano).
One is a Mobile version with HD quality, and the other is the SD ATV version.

The mobile version requires that your z8 has the Widevine L1 onboard.
Some z8s have this, and all the z8 pros and GTV models have the Widevine.

Google search Widevine and you will see what it is.
The explanation is easy to understand without needing to know alot of the language.

To check if your Z8 has Widevine, go to your Market and in the 'Utilities/ETC' category find the DMR Info app and install.
Open that app to check if the Widevine is onboard.

Next you will need to install the Filelinked app onto your Z8
You can also find that in the Market and in the 'Utilities/ETC' category.

Open the Filelinked app and use code 59240777 for the 2 Formuler versions.

Once you opened the filelinked app and entered that code, you will see the two files there.
Use the OK/Enter button to start the download. Once it is downloaded then the OK/Enter button again to install onto the Z8.
Then you will find the Netflix app or apps on your Launcher screen.

-With the mobile version, you get HD (if the device has Widevine L1).
You would need track pad/cursor to navigate.

-With the SD version, navigation works with the supplied remote easy enough.
SD quality, but not too bad.

thnx to the Team for this info

I almost forgot the most important thing
DO NOT UPDATE THE NETFLIX APP IF IT ASKS
