Permanently Remove Non-English Channels? (Buzz XPL)

    Hi,
I recently signed up for Rocket.

I am using a BuzzTV XPL3000 and the built in LiveTV app.

I noticed that the channel list is mixed up.
Largely English with a lot of Spanish randomly thrown in there.

Anyone know if it's possible to remove the Spanish channels.
Since I don't speak Spanish, it's essentially just unwanted noise for me, and it is generally bringing the whole experience down.

    Cheers

only one way to remove channels and that is to use a hard copy of the server's m3u playlist.
Open that copy thru Notepad and do your editing.

It will be a huge undertaking, so good luck on your completion
I could help with that, but only if you are willing to follow thru, as it will be a huge learning curve.

    but....
The channel list is not mixed up, not really.
    Have another look.
There is organization with them channels, you would just have to broaden your field of view to see it

Y can't the Channels bee put into a "Favorite(s)" Section/Folder so any1 can put in what-ever any1 wants to view instead of going thru and Deleting the ones any1 doesn't want to view...?!?

One could/should/would Think it would bee easier Keeping 50 Channels in another location inside the STB than Deleting up to and maybe over 250 channels One doesn't want to see...?!?

Thanks for the suggestion crazed, but I absolutely don't have that level of commitment.
I was hoping for the click of a button or perhaps a server side solution.

    Never mind
    Thanks again.

True, but the Service consists of 2 main language channel groups (Eng/ Esp), plus the conglomerate of International channels.
Most of the top channels are duplicated per the language (CNN US / CNN LatinoAmerica).
If you select All Channels and scroll through with an EPG, ...it is tedious!
A re-grouping of the categories is needed.

Why have separate Music, Science, Information, Culture, Business, Kids ??

    Just a suggestion!

btw ... why is PPV in with TV?

There are other simple solutions which relate to other boxes which cater to specific languages......Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Korean.....which only show channel listings in those specific languages. Oddly enough, some of those boxes have become International choices which are basically the same box providing different programming in various operating systems and they can be ordered in any available language. Aliexpress refers to their products as "Global versions" ?

Would it not be easier to use a text editor, just look for your english strings and save as your new playlist?
It`s been a really long time since I played with anything like this so I might be a bit off track.
