    XRS4500 remote stopped working

    BuzzTv XRS4500

My remote freezes or stops working and I have to remove the batteries for it to reset and work again.....anyone know what's up with it?

I have to use my remote for the 3000. It seems very odd.

Thanks , yes it is paired, but I have changed the batteries twice since April. This seems to be hard on batteries, maybe I should try some lithum batteries?

I find that happens with many devices and I have to clean the battery contacts in the remote and while at it on the batteries too. They build up an oxide.

Probably has a lot to do with the light. Might be your just using it to much, quit channel surfing. Mine have been in the remote for a few months.
