He got points for the selection, but not the favorite points. You were the only one that got the bonus points for picking Hamlin as the favorite, and Marley was the only other player to pick Hamlin overall.

"Newman’s racing team and wife shared updates on his condition as he continues to receive treatment at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach.

His Roush Fenway Racing team released the following statement Wednesday:

“Ryan Newman continues to show great improvement after Monday night’s last-lap accident at Daytona International Speedway. The veteran driver is fully alert and walking around Halifax Medical Center. True to his jovial nature, he has also been joking around with staff, friends and family while spending time playing with his two daughters.”
