601 and up freezing

I have been having similar issues, when it isn't freezing or looping, the screen goes black, no picture, no sound which forces me to exit and go back to the beginning of the movie. I've tried different media players but usually go back to VLC media player although it doesn't appear to matter as 2476 is black, no pic, no sound which leaves me wondering as others have posted that it works fine ? Still don't know what they use or what they have configured to get pic & sound but hopefully something will be posted to show box used, player used, version of software used, etcetera.
